Are you saying this link for this DLink driver is compatible with Sierra or only up to El Capitan? And as far as I know, my Asus dongle only supports up to Yosemite. I couldn't find a driver for the Asus to work under El Cap, unless you know something I don't.
The chipset in the Asus is a Realtek RTL8192SU chip and doing a bit more reading, the Dlink has the same chipset. Possible wait for Dlink and / or Realtek to get their act together and update their drivers, or try that link you mentioned above? Thanks again for you advice.
